Most of us would not consider a storm and a shipwreck as positive additions to a voyage. Paul experienced both on his journey to Rome. He had already been assaulted by a mob and arrested. To add insult to injury he was left in prison for more than two years though his innocence had been proven in several trials.

The post, A Storm and A Shipwreck, examines this snapshot from Paul’s life and draws some encouraging thoughts. Does doing God’s will give us a pass on pain, suffering, difficulty, or hardship?

We learn as Paul did that God uses those circumstances to further His plan.
