Good morning, Lord. I’m so thankful that You never tire of hearing from me, and honestly I don’t know how You do it. I’d wear out from exposure to the endless stream of wish lists, emergency pleas for help, and outright selfish demands.
Forgive me for asking, receiving your answers, and forgetting to thank You.
Today, Lord, I want to express my heartfelt praise for Your creation, Your love, and Your provision. In grace You shower blessings upon me, more than I can number, and certainly none that I deserve. Thank You that giving is part of Your nature.
I moved slowly through the gardens, camera in hand, and a sense of awe bubbling inside. Every step uncovered yet another masterpiece. How do You take a barren landscape with no signs of life and transform it into a wonderland of buds, blooms, sprouts, and shoots? Thank You that these miracles wait for me to behold.
David carefully observed his surroundings. He saw Your handiwork in every direction as he wrote this prayer.
You take care of the earth and water it, making it rich and fertile. The river of God has plenty of water; it provides a bountiful harvest of grain, for You have ordered it so. You drench the plowed ground with rain, melting the clods and leveling the ridges. You soften the earth with showers and bless its abundant crops. You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy. The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep, and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy!
Psalm 65:9-13 NLT
The hillsides do blossom with joy, and as spring’s warmth dislodges winter’s icy grip the splendor will explode in beautiful extravagance. Thank You, Lord, for demonstrating gardening at its finest.
Beautiful photos!! I heard you read the camera manual! ;)
Yes, I read through the manual and am attempting to learn enough of the magic to improve. My photographer grew tired of working for hugs and kisses and took a paying job. LOL.
Your yard is in bloom! How wonderful! What an adventure!
Every walk I find something new. I hear the weather forecast is for possible winter precipitation this Sunday. Who knows what kind of pictures I will get?
What a plethora of blessings. Thank you for training me to enjoy God’s masterpiece and to give thanks.
I love gardening with you, Dear, even when you want to move trees and bushes from one spot to another.
