I know some have been waiting for the Grandpa stories in book format. It was just released this week. Here is the first press release from my marketing manager, Shawn.
John Nichols shares stories about his grandpa, Homer Miller, a lifelong resident of Clay County, in “The Giving Grandpa”.
Homer Miller was a lifelong resident of Clay County. Along with his wife, Lettie, he brought up 12 children, and saw each graduate from Clay County High School. In “The Giving Grandpa”, John Nichols captures snapshots of Homer’s life as only a grandson could. The book is a testimony to the difference a loving grandpa can make, not only in the lives of his own sons and daughters, but also in the lives of the future generation of his grandchildren.
The book is a collection of memories described by the author in this way: “Grandpa’s gifts to me were not things I could hold in my hands… His gifts were memories that live in my heart…” John endeavors to capture those memories to remind family and friends of Homer and his giving ways.
